Simplified entry rules from 1 July
Visitors visiting Thailand will no longer be necessary to apply in advance for a Thailand Pass beginning on 1 July 2022. Upon arriving in Thailand, travelers will only require one of the following:

Unvaccinated/incompletely vaccinated travelers who do not have documentation of a negative pre-arrival test must adhere to the public health instructions and recommendations as determined by the Health Control officer at the port of entry. All expenses will fall under the traveler’s obligation.
If you are not going straight to Thailand and are instead transiting through another country, you should review the Covid policy of your airline and the laws of the nation through which you are passing.
Under 18 years old
Children traveling with parents or guardians who are unvaccinated may enter Thailand under the same conditions as their parents or guardians. However, unaccompanied minors traveling to Thailand must receive at least one dose of an authorized vaccine at least 14 days before departure.
Covid regulations for domestic travel in Thailand
As a foreign tourist arriving in Thailand, once you have finished the required entry formalities listed above, you will be subject to the same rules for domestic travel as Thai travelers and people who live in Thailand. These rules are designed to ensure the safety of everyone traveling within Thailand.
Since 23 June 2022, wearing face masks has been endorsed as voluntary. However, because there are still some occasions in which members of the public may be ordered to wear masks, such as while using public transportation, it is recommended that you bring a mask with you at all times.
Visa options
Visa Exemption
Permitted to stay in Thailand for 30 days
Under the visa exemption system, citizens of selected countries, such as the United Kingdom and Ireland, are permitted to remain in the country for up to 30 days without having to submit an application for a visa in advance.
Tourist Visa
Permitted to stay in Thailand for 60 days
Tourists from the UK and Ireland who wish to stay in Thailand for up to 60 days can apply for a Tourist Visa. Apply for the Tourist Visa at least four weeks in advance of the travel date via the official Thai E-Visa website.
Special Tourist Visa
Permitted to stay in Thailand for 90-270 days
For travelers planning to remain in the country for an extended period of time, the Special Tourist Visa became available in September of 2020. This category of visas was scheduled to be discontinued in September of 2021. Despite this, the Thai government has consented to the extension of the program to September 2022. A stay of up to 90 days is permitted with the Special Tourist Visa, and this period of time can be extended twice for an additional period of 90 days each.
